Life Architecture – Module 1 – Clarifying my priorities

Life Architecture ist eine vierteilige Workshop-Reihe, die auf Englisch stattfindet. In diesen vier Wochen werden die Teilnehmer/innen Gespräche führen, die sie dabei unterstützen, ein Leben zu klären, sich vorzustellen, auszuprobieren und zu gestalten, das mehr mit ihren persönlichen Werten in Einklang steht.
Die folgende Beschreibung der Reihe und das Anmeldeformular sind auf Englisch.
Life Architecture is a four-part workshop series hosted in English. Over these four weeks, participants will have conversations that will support them in clarifying, imagining, testing and building a life that is more in line with their personal values.
Living our lives to fit our dreams is a challenge. Many of us are too busy and too caught up in the day-to-day details to find space to think about what we truly want or what we would change, if we could.
By taking this course you are making that space: we give ourselves the gift of TIME to work out ways we might move from where we are now in our lives to where we want to be. It invites us to design something for ourselves in a collaborative, supportive learning environment.
These changes are different for each one of us – maybe you want to make changes relating to your work, to relationships and friendships, or activism, or just find more time for yourself and the things you care about most. Life Architecture is full of tools that can be adapted in many ways to design your own plan.
Each session is three hours long (with breaks!), every Wednesday evening for four weeks in a row, made up of reflection activities, discussions, food for thought and…yes, a little bit of homework.
In designing this learning series, we know that each of us experiences the world differently. We try to be as inclusive, relevant and safe as possible, but we know that this will always be a work in progress. All activities are by consent – you will never be pressured to do something you don’t want to. That said, you will be invited to participate in ways that might stretch and challenge you!
The workshops will be held in English.
Who is this course for?
Activities are often interactive and conversation-based, so it is important to have an open, collaborative, and respectful mindset. We are committed to anti-oppression and centring people who might not have access to these kinds of resources due to the many barriers in our society. If the spots fill up, we will prioritise those people.
How much does this course cost?
The ticket prices of the paying attendees go towards paying for our facilitators, platform, and design time. Tickets for this course will be offered on a sliding scale from €80 – €240 (inclusive VAT) for the four weeks. If you can pay more, you will help fund the course for those who can’t.
By default, payment is due before the first session; however, payment plans can be arranged if needed due to financial strain. You will receive an invoice with payment details once you are accepted to the series.

Space is limited to 16 participants, with two facilitators.
The workshops are taught in English on Zoom.
We believe that you’ll get the most out of this course if you can attend all four weeks of the series. That said, we know how busy and unpredictable life can be. If you can’t complete some homework or need to suddenly skip a week, we will understand.
All workshops take place 17:00-20:00 (5pm-8pm) Berlin time (UTC+1).

Narrowing down your possibilities; learning to use research to test how well your plans may work and what feels right for you.

Deciding on steps to move from design to reality.
